Let’s be honest. How many of us re-did this quest, over and over again, just to repeatedly wallop Varian in his giant chin? Who could possibly resist??
Headcanon: Garrosh sitting down in his throne room with a paper and clipboard.
On the left-hand side of the page: Strong new allies. Much-needed boost to the Horde’s ranks. New culture and knowledge that will strengthen the Horde. Would keep the Alliance from gaining an overwhelming military advantage.
On the right-hand side of the page: Varian punched in the face

When I first did that quest, I re-read the text to be sure I read what I read. I was actually confused!

I get the feeling there would be a lot more Horde Pandaren, especially now after recent events on Pandaria…
Hmm…punching Varian in the face or bolstering Horde forces…? Choices, choices. I still roll pandaren and have them pick Alliance JUST for that moment. I still laugh at the shocked looks on Aysa’s face when you knock Varian on his butt.
I was thinking more of garrosh using a pandaren costume and picking and dropping the quest repeatedly to punch varian in the face with something like “I’m never turning this quest in this is so much fun”
The mental image of this is pretty amazing.

I love the fact that Varian actually gets his ass of the throne to personally interview new Alliance Pandaren. Punching him is just the icing on the cake. 😀
This is really belated (for some reason your comment was lost in moderation, or it was posted but I didn’t see it) but thanks for noticing! We had the buttons since the beginning but for some reason they disappeared. We engaged a tech-savvy friend to figure out why. I’m so happy they are back! 😀
